How are you feeling today? Are you struggling? Do you feel you're at your wit's end? Feeling there is no way out of your problem? Do you need someone to just listen to what you are going through? Do you just need a place to run to, to be safe?
Then cry out, "God help me now!" Jesus is faithful and able, and he won't let you down!
That’s right. Because I, your God,
have a firm grip on you and I’m not letting go.
I’m telling you, ‘Don’t panic.
I’m right here to help you.’
On this #ThankfulThursday I am so grateful we have a loyal God just waiting to help us when we call.
"You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."
Notice that it says in the above verse, "when you search for me with all your heart." What does, "with all your heart" mean? Well think of this - when we do something only halfheartedly, we don't often get full results, do we? We seem to get back only what we are willing to put in. The commentary in my CSB Women's Study Bible states, "The condition for seeking and finding God lies in the heart," and that the search for God must be "wholehearted."
So, try being sincere. Give God your whole heart, not part. Cry out to God and desire his help wholeheartedly - yes, with all your heart. ❤️
Be strong and courageous; don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For the Lord your God is the one who will go with you; he will not leave you or abandon you.”
