“Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here, but he has risen!
In the Words of Jesus
"Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee, saying, ‘It is necessary that the Son of Man be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise on the third day?’”
“Why are you troubled?” “And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself! Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.” He told them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
He also said to them,
“This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things."
The Ascension of Jesus
Then he led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. And while he was blessing them, he left them and was carried up into heaven. After worshiping him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they were continually in the temple praising God.

Let's celebrate Jesus in joyful abandon today! It is Easter, the day our Lord arose from the grave to life, and in perfection, ascended into Heaven with our Heavenly Father. And in Jesus's death, and resurrection, he provided the way for us to have one-on-one relationship with him, and with God, if, and when we choose to.

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for your life here on earth. Thank you for choosing to die on the cruel cross for me, so that I might have one-on-one relationship with you and with God, and live with you in Heaven when the time comes. I believe in you and I chose to have one-on-one relationship with you. Please help me walk with you and talk with you every day, sharing my life with you. Thank you, I love you, Jesus.
