Bad Girls of the Bible
by Liz Curtis Higgs

We had so much fun with this study! Liz Curtis Higgs is a tremendous Bible Study teacher, with her “novel approach to Bible study,” and what a hoot she is!

If you are like me and think you don’t have much in common with the women of the Bible, think again! I found something to identify with in all ten of them!

My tiny Island small group planned a “graduation celebration” on the beach after completing the study.  We all dressed as best we could, as the character we most identified with. I made a “Bad Girls Gone Good” cake. The girls dug in and learned all about these bad girls as they planned their outfits. This made Jesus’s unconditional love for each of the Bad Girls and themselves even more poignant.

From the back cover:
Eve had food issues. Potiphar’s Wife and Delilah had man trouble. Lot’s Wife and Michal couldn’t let go of the past, Sapphira couldn’t let go of money, and Jezebel couldn’t let go of anything. Yet the Woman at the Well had her thirst quenched at last, while Rahab and the Sinful Woman left their sordid histories behind. Let these Bad Girls show you why studying the Bible has never been more fun!

Here are a few fun pictures from our graduation celebration - not the greatest pictures, but will give an idea of fun you can have with this study!
